Located in the historic El Paseo building, a former movie theatre, this award-winning restaurant and bar boasts a slick, industrial-style interior design and stylish menu to match. If you’re looking for a classy dinner or special splurge meal in Palm Springs, this is a good choice! Most of the ingredients in their sophisticated ‘New American’ dishes are sourced from local farms, plus they have a classic bar serving up well-crafted cocktails. We recommend the California Dreamin’!

THE SAGUARO PALM SPRINGS
The most instagrammable hotel in the area. Add a splash of colour to your stay in one of Palm Springs’ most popular resorts. It’s vibrant rainbow walls and olympic sized pool will make the perfect home for your trip. Chill by the water or take advantage of their yoga classes, gym or spa.
ACE HOTEL & SWIM CLUB
We highly recommend this hotel! It’s a former motel with cool, bohemian style rooms. For those who love to make new friends, this hotel hosts a range of events such as pool parties, live music and bingo! If you’re here to make memories, this is where you want to be.
If your vibe is a little more bohemian, we’d definitely recommend a stay in this hotel. The Mediterranean-style resort features lots of lush greenery and classy water features. The New York Times has dubbed it “One of the sexiest hotels in America.” This one is definitely on our list!
This Tiki bar is one of our favourite spots for a get-together. Their priorities are making cocktails that are ‘equal measure of rum + fruit + love’ and ‘good old-fashioned fun’! Doesn’t that sound like the best time?! The decor and drinks menu perfectly honours thename. Make sure you try their interpretation of a daiquiri, we recommend doing this on a Wednesday when daiquiris are $6. Cheeky deal!
Daily: 4pm – 2am
This LGBT bar is consistently voted number one nightclub in Coachella Valley and Palm Springs. It’s known for its extravagant parties and outrageous drag queens. We suggest heading down on a Thursday for their Lipstick Show, featuring lots of “drag stars and show people”. Let your hair down under the vibrant lights of the club and rest assured you’re in for an incredible night. Hey, why not get the app and get yourself on the VIP guestlist?
Wed - Sat: 9pm - 2am
DEAD OR ALIVE
This dimly lit bar, soaked in orange and red hues, is where you come for a highly curated selection of craft beers and wine. The locally owned establishment is somewhat of a hidden gem, so keep your eye out for it as it only has an orange circle sign outside. Head this way for high quality drinks and some snacks if you’re feeling peckish. Fun sidenote: they offer live jazz music every Friday night.

WIFI CAFES FOR REMOTE WORKERS
This coffee shop has a few locations in Palm Springs, but our favourite is the one on Canyon Way because of its ideal location in the city. Pack your laptop and sit inside to take advantage of the comfy seating and floor-to-ceiling windows. Or enjoy the sunshine whilst working on the terrace, which overlooks the mountains. The neutral tones of this coffee shop make it a very relaxed and tranquil temporary office.
4 PAWS COFFEE CO
If you prefer more space to working and often feel crowded in a typical coffee shop, this is a great option for you. The space is large and comfortable with spaced-out tables so you can really get your head down. We especially love this spot because for every coffee or food item you buy, a portion of the profits is donated to local animal shelters. What a great way to get your work done and support great causes at the same time! Be careful not to get distracted by all the cute pooches that pay the shop a visit!
Mon-Thurs: 6.30am – 3pm
Fri-Sat: 6:30am – 5pm

Originally a tiki restaurant opened by Donn Beach (the founding father of tiki culture), this space now offers delicious coffee and amazing mountain views from the terrace. If you’re feeling peckish whilst you work, Ernest coffee can offer you freshly baked pastries (including vegan and gluten-free options), quiches and yoghurt parfaits. This is a gorgeous and comfortable place to get your head in the game!
